Biography
He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Germany, Araklı and Merzifon.
In 1989, he graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry.
In 1993, he completed his doctorate education in the Department of Orthodontics at G.A.T.A Dental Sciences Center with the thesis titled “Experimental Investigation of the Effects of Nitric Oxide on Osteoclast Activity in Orthodontic Tooth Movements”;
After working as an orthodontic specialist for 5 years in Eskişehir military hospital, he was appointed as Asst.Assoc.Hv.Dental Tbp.Bn. in 2002.
On December 12, 2006 he received the title of Associate Professor of Orthodontics.
In March 2009, he resigned from his position at G.A.T.A and started working as an Orthodontic Specialist at “Medicana Dental Hospital”.
Since 2021, he has been accepting patients in our clinic.
His areas of interest include Orthognathic Surgery, Impacted Teeth, Lingual Orthodontics (incognito and Harmony).
He speaks English and German.
Dr. Akın, who works as an orthodontist at Yalova Gazident Dental Clinic, was born in 1964 and graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry. Working for 6 years at Gazident Dental Clinic, Dr. Akın has expertise in transparent plate systems, lingual orthodontics, laser orthodontics, accelerated orthodontic methods and botox.
